We are a Unicorn Company in search of a Unicorn Talent to join our marketing team. The Digital Commerce Manager will be responsible for driving strategic digital marketing initiatives with the goal of increasing revenue. In addition to having a strategic focus, the successful candidate will manage, organize and successfully implement projects in support of these initiatives. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to web management, e-commerce development, SEO monitoring and improvements, SEM (PPC), leveraging marketing automation tools, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Determine strategy for maximizing revenue opportunities for ABP’s digital and e-commerce business. Establish KPIs to measure success (i.e. sales, visitors, avg. order size, etc.)
  • Determine product roadmap, site enhancements, and sales conversion strategy for www.herbdoc.com, partner channels, and the mobile platform.
  • Review ABP’s digital footprint, and define strategy for improvement of online lead generation efforts.
  • Track, analyze, and report results from website (traffic, site performance, keywords, web submissions, etc.).
  • Recommend changes to website, content, linking, etc. to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
  • Responsible for digital delivery of promotions/programs, newsletters, product announcements as well as email platform, print media and social media projects.
  • Responsible for managing and driving projects to on-time completion, or communicating changes to project timelines/scope/budget as appropriate
  • Manage and launch CMS content updates, online promotions, including testing and launch QA
  • Schedule and manage meetings with stakeholders to initiate new projects, manage priorities of projects, set timeline expectations, manage asset handoff and general tracking of each marketing request
  • Establish schedule and deadlines, assign tasks and monitor progress and create reports on project roadmaps to ensure marketing deadlines and KPIs are met.
  • Create and manage project calendars and program assets to ensure web, email and CRM projects are completed on time and as requested.
  • Provide analytics, reporting, and metrics on site builds and campaigns including timelines, estimated hours (level of effort), budget costs versus actuals and post project recaps
  • Manage CMS, ESP platforms and manage assigned campaigns for digital and web from concept through completion with team members in marketing, IT, creative and management.
  • Participate in brainstorms and strategy sessions as requested by Head of Marketing; weigh in on possible obstacles and considerations per communication with engineering and Enterprise
  • Work with marketing, creative, management and engineering teams to create tasks as needed for digital and marketing projects
  • Communicate to executive team project status reports of all assigned accounts and projects

Requirements

  • 7+ years of strategic digital marketing experience with an eye towards revenue generation.
  • 3+ years of experience producing websites, e-commerce site builds and content management/scheduling. Mobile platform experience is a plus
  • Project management experience with a proven track record of success completing marketing, digital, and e-commerce projects on time.
  • Experience leading and working with cross-functional teams including marketing, creative, operations, IT and engineering
  • Ability to juggle long and short-term deadlines in a dynamic working environment.
  • Solid understanding of UX, with an eye for ‘excellence’ in customer experience
  • Experience with analytics, the Google suite is strongly preferred
  • Experience with at least three (3) of these seven (7) areas:
    1. Experience and understanding of marketing automation software (Marketo, SharpSpring, etc.)
    2. CMS platforms (Magento, Spree, Adobe, etc.)
    3. Order management solutions (FreeStyle, Magento, etc.)
    4. Email service provider platforms (MailChimp, Listrak, etc.)
    5. Project management platforms (Trello, Assembla, JIRA, Atlassian, etc)
    6. Project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum, etc)
    7. Web Development tools (HTML, CSS, graphics/multimedia creation with Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash [Adobe Creative Suite])
  • Experience with A/B and MVT testing and implementation in a CMS
  • Experience with Excel, Powerpoint and Office
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • BA, BS in Business, Marketing, or equivalent degree
